Never using GiftTree again!

Never using GiftTree again!

I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE REVIEWS BEFORE I BUY FROM GiftTree. Had the same problem as other customers ordering in advance to make sure it will arrive on Christmas time.

One basket arrived three days after Christmas, second 6 days later and third basket arrived 13 days after Christmas! On top of that people that received the third basket are close enough to us to send us pictures of the basket all messed up and with cheap products in it. We spent $430 for cheap snacks! The first two baskets were sent to important people to us for appreciation, we feel so uncomfortable!

On Jan 2nd I called to complain about the lateness of the first two baskets and that the third basket wasn't received at all! Guy called James told me the same thing as other unhappy customers. The delivery was only for an "estimated date" and he refused to give back any refund. I asked for a refund on the third basket that wasn't received at all and he said they have to investigate with posts and he accused me of giving the wrong address.

So unprofessional! He said he will send me an email.

I never received an email or refund from them and later that day the basket was delivered to the right address, almost two weeks from the day I ordered it. I will never use GiftTree again!!!

Brunt my 7 year old

My son wanted to gift his mother chocolate for Christmas, and Gift Tree seemed to offer the perfect package. Unfortunately, the package was delivered to the wrong address.

Gift Tree's Customer Support called and left a voicemail, stating that the owner of the incorrect address had called about receiving the package, but the intended recipient did not live there. Armed with this information, my wife and son visited the wrong address to see if they could retrieve the package, only to be ignored by the homeowners. I called back Gift Tree Customer Support, only to be informed that the mistake was my fault due to the wrong address.

This seemed ridiculous to me, considering I've successfully placed over 8 online orders in the last 2 months using Chrome's autofill for my home/billing address. I was told that the order was charged and fulfilled, and I would be charged again to have it resent.

Ordered a $200 gift basket 2 weeks in advance to be delivered to a business. Paid the extra fee to have it delivered on a specific day for the event. Basket did not arrive and came a day late. Requested a refund from Gift Tree only for the shipping cost and the extra fee charged to have it delivered on a specific date. Thought that was reasonable of me only asking for my shipping to be refunded and not the entire order. They denied my refund saying that the delivery was only for an "estimated date". Will not use this company again due to failure to perform as advertised.d

Increased prices from catalog

Called to order gift baskets. One price in catalog but higher price when tried to order by phone. This is wrong. I will NOT order from them again unless they make this right. Hiking prices from what you advertise to more when order is WRONG.

Received gift, due to my age and health issues, I was not able to attend

Received a Christmas gift in 2019!for the Temptations and Four Tops at Westbury Music Fair in Westbury New York. the show was canceled and rescheduled for November 2021, due to my age and medical issues was unable to attend. Tried numerous times to get in touch with Ticketmaster and the venue, after many hours on hold, was never able to get through, never was able to go to the concert.I was treated horribly, totally disgraceful

This company is a rip off.

Paid 140.00 For an Italian meat and cheese basket. First of all no Basket. next I was to have 3 different salami's only one was sent. There was 15 ounces of meat and 1 pound of cheese. one pack of crackers and a small jar of olives. THIS IS THE BIGGEST RIP-OFF DON'T GET RIPPED OFF LIKE I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a fruit gift basket and paid $10.95 for over-night delivery. They delivered it 5 days later and would not refund my money. They said "No refunds." Terrible service and terrible experience because the gift did not get there on time. They took no responsibility.

Overpriced "tower" (basket) of "gourmet" goods

Charging $70 for approximately 8-10 items, most of which were completely different than the description, is simply a ripoff. Some of the goods were clearly generic and there was no ribbon on the basket as described on the website. They also charge around $10-12 for ribbons to have basic text like Happy Birthday or Thank You. I understand markups for personalizing a ribbon with your own text, but $10+ for something so simple and cheap? The only good thing was that it was delivered on time and I'm grateful to have a friend who was just happy with the thoughtfulness of receiving a gift. If you're looking to impress someone, I would highly recommend using a different online shop.

I paid A LOT of extra money to ensure that an already overpriced gift was delivered to Kansas TODAY. It is sitting in Nebraska. They overprice and overpromise. Their gifts are cliché and boring. I will NEVER order from Gift Tree again.

I ordered a Orchard Fruit Basket for my Dad for Fathers Day and they sent my Dad this horrible piece of CRAP!!! I paid almost $80.00 for that fruit basket and they have the nerve to bring my Dad 3 apples, some misc items from the DollarTree and some sunflower seeds!!! REALLY??? ARE THEY SERIOUS!!

What is Nutty Buddy, candy, crackers, sunflower seeds doing in what's suppose to be an all fruit gourmet "Fruit Basket"? Then cover up sloppyness with a tired looking red Christmas bow. My 5 year old could do better then this! You really thought it was cool to send my father a leftover Easterbasket from the Dollar store.Then add insult to injury I am still fighting to get my Refund.

I'm FURIOUS!! They RUINED MY FATHER'S DAY SURPRISE. I called them several times was told they would issue me a refund and would have the basket picked up my Dad waits all day its Fathers Day Weekend noone shows up.

I should not have to beg them to come get their deplorable representation of what should have been a Orchard Fruit basket. This is bad business, bait and switch..they are scam artist DO NOT BUY FROM THEM and I JUST WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED..ASAP!!!

Not sure why it's saying issue was resolved nothing was done. I just won't order from this company again.

I purchased this as a gift to my doctors office. They recieved it and was happy until they bit into the apple and they were rotten. Very disappointed.

Scheduled delivery just does not work. I.e. you order (and pay) for a delivery at specific day and the company decides to deliver.... earlier in a week. Then they appologise and promise re-deliver at needed date, but.... deliver something you didn't order. The concept is "it is unimportant what quality of service we provide". Unbelievable!!!!!

A few days after not hearing back, I sent another email to their Customer Service, this time copying another person who had been on the original email. She called me immediately, apologized for the poor service on their part, and issued me a full refund.

My MIL did eventually receive the basket but the quality wasn't that great. Even though they did try to rectify not sending it in time with a refund, I still wouldn't recommend ordering from them.

I ordered a Christmas gift basket for my MIL on 12/16. I never received an order confirmation or shipping info, however they were quick to charge my credit card! No response to inquiries and then of course, Christmas comes and goes with no basket. I finally receive an email from Ciara (with very poor spelling and grammar) who said it would be delivered on 12/28 and offered me a shipping cost refund - which frankly is unacceptable. Don’t claim to deliver by Christmas if it takes over 2 weeks to actually deliver.

We ordered the Good as Gold gift basket for our boss. First of all it was late by one day... not good. Second it was a joke the size of what was received in comparison to what the picture was. I was so embarrassed to give it to our boss. This was $80 with delivery fee and thats totally unacceptable when we opened the box it was this little basket with much smaller sizes of items in it. It looked NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE!!! I will never order from this company again!!
